Ya might as well. its gonna become a stable in the lab when it comes to overclocking. Maybe not for reviews, but def for when its time to hunker down and see what a board can do.

Well here is the best part. turns out the builder is the CoolerExpress rep here in the states and offered it fix it for me. So I packed it up and shipped it out. Not sure what it will actually cost me but it should be less than what I got from mr ebay tightass.

so I have a few options, SR-2 under phase anyone?? :Danceparty or I could sell it and basically recoup the majority of my costs, both for the ebay fuxX0r-up and the cost of this new bench unit.

Looks like he posted some new pics indicating the system was charged and ready to go.

Haven't heard directly if it got shipped but I don't have any reason not to believe that.

Yep. I guess he was doing some last minute tweaks to get the mounting hardware to seat nicely and caused a leak. So he wrote to tell me that he would need some more time to get things fixed.

So still in a holding pattern looking for a tracking number. :)

The wait is over!!

Fedex FTW on a Saturday delivery, despite waiting until after 5pm to deliver the package.

Anyhow, here are some unboxing pics.

Just out of the box, still wrapped in plastic. A few peanuts made it into the guts and a shitload of them where smashed into the bottom board LOL

And we have frost. I let it run a little longer to get the oil moving.

The condenser here was part of a much smaller unit, then to make it more powerful the compressor was replaced, and well didn't quite fit into the same location. There is no vibration and it is pretty quiet.
