The upside to the X79 and I7 3930 I am using now is it OC's better than any CPU/MB I have ever used...You can run 5.0 and 5.1 with Vantage and 3D06 easily...

Im back at NinjaLane and thanks to Dennis will be returning to the Bot team..I dont bench as much as I used to but still try all new cards I can get my hands on..Im using the X79 now... The X79 has issues with things like SSD toolbox from Intel and doesnt like to switch video cards as far as going from AMD to Nvidia...I was going to try the 680 and had one but I have read it doesnt take advantage of the 3.0 PCI express...

Welcome back Lakeside! You have to respect a guy who overclocks and has a private lake all to themselves 
I do love the X79 platform, it doesn't overclock as well as, say, Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge but the power and thread count are to die for. Last I checked HWBot was having some system issues so your team switch might not register completely but Massman tells me it will get resolved once Richbastard gets back from holiday.
btw I added a few new features to the site since you were here last. The biggest of which is the Ninjalane Podcast.
