JavaScript is not the Problem

Believe it or not there are groups out there saying that JavaScript is the root of everything evil on the web. The scripting language has been used to help spread virri, launch popup ads, and even make cool mousetrails. Though can you really punish JavaScript? I don’t think so, in all reality the functionality for all of this has been there for years and was just used as a tool to help get the job done. In the case of virri, It is still the consumer that made it spread and security holes that make it happen.
