Epox 4PEA+ Review @ Digital-Daily
"Despite evident flaws in the overclocking, the board did appeal to me with its multifunctionality. The expansivity options set is pretty powerful and allows assembling systems of practically any configuration. The board features a RAID controller and supports SerialATA, 6-channel audio and integrated LAN. There is also support for USB2.0 and Firewire. What is more, the board is produced in a make having support for flash card readers. "
I found a little tidbit of information in the review that I never thought of before.
"To prevent the card from falling out of the slot, it is equipped with a latch. Also, it's Epox who first invented a fastener for the AGP video card. "
So do you think it really was Epox that created the latch? Or do you think it was something left over from the original spec and was never implemented?
