All I can say is WOW! I knew that ATA100 was fast and heard the rumors of it rivaling SCSI but never found any benchmarks to support it. Until now, GamePC looked at the 60GXP, 75GXP, and the Seagate Cheetah X15, in a variety of benchmark tests. Not only does the 60GXP hold its own against the Cheetah but does so quietly.
I don't know about you but there is just something about SCSI drives and their chugging that is just harmonious, that is until they start to give off that high-pitched squeal.
