"At the back of the CPU, you will find that the Opteron is completely filled up with pins. In fact, there are 940 of them! It is very important to take note of the CPU's orientation to avoid bending or breaking any of the fine pins.
Both Pentium 4-3.0Ghz and Opteron 240 comes with a copper based aluminium heatsink fan. Opteron heatsink fan is still using the traditional 2 clips design, we prefer Pentium 4 heatsink because no screw driver is required during installation."
The photos of the Opteron haven't changed much over the past year or so. I think the first time I ever saw one was over at that Anandtech site.
