"From the angle of 3D accelerators, the month was really demonstrative: ATI announced its two new solutions on September 30 (RADEON 9800XT and RADEON 9600XT), and just in three weeks its constant rival, Californian NVIDIA offered its novelties as well. The latter simply overclocked its High-End solution as well to get GeForce FX 5950 Ultra. However the Middle-End leader, GeForce FX 5700 Ultra, is not an overclocked version of 5600 Ultra, but a really new solution."
