Intel Seen Making 64-Bit Pentium

The introduction of a 64bit Pentium processor is inevitable, the AMD marketing engine is pushing the envelope into the realm of 64-bit processing even though there is no "mainstream" 64-bit OS on the market (Linux and Unix aside). Knowing this I find it hard to believe that customers are actually requesting 64-bit capabilities for any reason other than because they can.
