Intel Core i7 980X CPU @ Technic 3D

The Gulftown processor was released not to long ago to the joys of many an enthusiast, and why not? The processor comes with 6 processor cores w/ hyperthreading and a nice large L3 cache for some serious data processing.
The guys at Technic3D went so far as to overclock the processor to 4.4Ghz which is no small feat on the Nehalem Architecture.
The Intel Core i7 980X Extreme Edition CPU arrived Technic3D. We will check the new Gulftown 32nm Six-Core CPU from Intel against the Intel Core i7 975 Extreme, AMD Phenom II 940/965 and more on Windows 7 and Linux . One day I hope to have one of these beasts, but then again, I said the same about the extreme edition and we all know how well that went over.
