Fractal Design Scape @ TechPowerUp
TechPowerUp reviewed the Fractal Design Scape headset and praised it for combining elegant aesthetics with thoughtful engineering. The headset features soft memory foam earpads, a detachable boom microphone, and a clean industrial look that leans more toward premium lifestyle gear than flashy gaming equipment. One standout feature is its included wireless charging dock that uses magnetic alignment and Qi charging, allowing users to simply place the headset down to recharge. The package also includes a USB dongle for low-latency wireless audio, ensuring a plug-and-play setup with no additional software required.

Fractal's first gaming headset is here and it's even better than expected! Premium design, detailed sound, excellent comfort, a great pair of microphones, and one of the best charging docks we've ever seen make it well worth the $200 price tag.
In performance tests, the Scape delivered clear, detailed audio with strong spatial accuracy, making it suitable for both immersive gaming and competitive play. The microphone performed well, offering warm and articulate voice capture. Battery life was excellent, and the charging dock effectively removed the need to worry about runtime. Wireless range reached up to 40 meters in open space with no major dropouts. While TechPowerUp noted some minor downsides, such as the lack of USB-C connectivity and slightly lower-than-expected maximum volume, they concluded the Scape offers a refined and highly usable experience that justifies its premium $200 price point.
