Nvidia Removes Hybrid PhysX Blockage @ NGOHQ
Published: Friday, May 28, 2010 | By: WillI cannot confirm this to be true, but they are saying that NVidia has stopped the hybrid PhysX blockade. Let's hope this is true and this saga is over for everyones sake. So now everyone can have there cake and eat it too.
"It seems that Nvidia has removed the hybrid PhysX blockage in the recent 257.15 GeForce drivers. However, it is still a mystery for us if it was done intentionally or perheps it is just a bug. "I'm seriously amazed. I've tested it by myself on Windows XP and Windows 7 x64 - it really works out of the box with 257.15. And even more surprising - timebomb issue is gone too. It would be at least one respectable deed by Nvidia, and my mod would be obsolete, which is great for everyone. So we better hope this is permanent." said GenL."
Well that is if the cake is real!

"Most of today's desktop CPUs, including budget models, tend to be good for overclocking. But for those who are looking for the ultimate in tweaking ability, Intel's mainstream models have left a bit to be desired. With the K series, though, it aims to remedy that situation by offering unlocked models at affordable prices."
Which they say affordable prices, but I have to see it to believe it.

"Even though banks and credit card companies report huge losses due to all sorts of fraud, the credit-card system in the U.S. still has huge flaws, and some would cost absolutely nothing to fix."

The heatsink looks just killer, and the GTX 480 is just a monster at the HWBot game. Looks like a great combo just waiting to be unleashed.

ASUS ROG Xpander might be the craziest four-way SLI solution you've ever seen

Seriously an expansion card to allow for more PCI-E lanes to give all Asus Rampage III the ability to have 4-way SLI. I'm going out on a linb here, but would it have been a better ideal to maybe have engineered it with the ability to do 4-way SLI in the first place.
"Turns out the Rampage III Extreme motherboard unveiled by ASUS back in March won't support four-way SLI configurations right out of the box.
Perhaps in an effort to keep costs down, ASUS opted against equipping the board with NVIDIA NF200 bridge chips and a four-way SLI license. The decision makes sense, as very few users are ever going to utilise a four-way GPU configuration, and both the added expense and additional power draw (each NF200 chip eats up around 6W) are essentially drawbacks for 99 per cent of users."Asus is happy that everyone buys the Rampage III and then pays extra for the expansion board. Now to think of it this is a brilliant cash cow.
