Americans are lazy Consumers @ TechwareLabs
Published: Tuesday, September 16, 2008 | By: WillWow, let's see what kind of witty thing I can say about this. Um..Um...Um..Well after reading this article. All I can say is "OH YEAH!".
"If the old saying that a fool and his money are soon parted then Americans are the fools of the world and are on a crash course with disaster. Can you take control of your buying habits or will you let the marketing companies of the world continue to tell you what to do?"
You know good common sense isn't very common anymore is it.

Samsung SyncMaster 305T 30-inch LCD @ Phoronix
Published: Friday, September 12, 2008 | By: WillOh man, check this out. A 30 inch Samsung LCD monitor for us geeks is like a 60 HDTV for a Sports fan. This would be awesome to have think of all the awesome life sized por..gaming you could do. Well the video cards to push this kind of monitor has finally become more main stream. So when it the pricing on one of these monitors going to do the same?
"If a 22" or 24" LCD monitor doesn't provide enough screen real estate for you or you just want to go all out and find the best monitor without having a real budget, you'll more than likely end up looking at the 30" monitors that are available. There aren't many but Apple has a 30" Cinema Display and Dell also have a very popular 30" monitor, but there are also some from other manufacturers. In fact, today we are looking at the Samsung SyncMaster 305T, which is a 30" monitor with a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 and has a price tag of over $1200 USD."
Somebody get me one of these to review please! pleeease! pleeeease!

Intel X25-M 80 GB Mainstream SATA SSD Review @ ocaholic
Published: Wednesday, September 10, 2008 | By: WillIntel FTW here folks. Looking at the SSD for a little while now. They have really been a mixed bag on the overall performance results. Now, Intel has made a beast of a SSD. This is a very impressive new drive.
"Today the conventional hard disk is still the bottleneck in modern computers and only because of the RAM it doesn't have a very heavy influence on the whole system performance. But unfortunately we have to wait for the hard disk again and again and therefore it doesn't matter if we start a program or read/write from/into a database. If we compare the time we wait for the hard drive to the operations a processor can execute per second or data that can be sent through memory per second we have to wait very long. But at least there is hope that the bottleneck gets a little wider with the new Intel SSD-family.
Time to beg, borrow, and steal to get the fastest drive around.

Fall Processor Pricing - Finding the Best Bang for the Buck @ Techgage
Published: Friday, September 5, 2008 | By: WillThis article just grabs me whenever I see the words "best bang for the buck." In more ways than one. Anyways here is a great run down of what to look for this fall in prices. I myself love to go cheap, and overclock hard.
"If pondering an upgrade, the time to purchase a new processor is now. Both AMD and Intel are offering a great collection of models that fit all budgets, and we take a look to find the best options available. Whether it's a Dual-Core or Quad-Core you're after, there's undoubtedly a model that fits nicely into your price range and won't let you down."
Get your mind out of the gutter!
