Lack of Reviews Today
Published: Wednesday, December 10, 2003 | By: DennisNot really the lack of reviews, but a lack in ability to retrieve them. I had a system crash last night that disabled my RAID array. No real data loss that I can tell, though until I can fix the issue I will be without user submitted news.
Rest assured you can expect to see a rather large review block sometime in the near future.

Apple Store: Chain of Devotion

"On Thanksgiving, Gary Allen and his teenage son caught a plane to Japan from their home in Berkeley, California, to attend the grand opening of Apple Computer's new store in Tokyo.
Rising early Friday, the pair spent the next 28 hours standing outside the store in the rain to be the first in line when the doors were thrown open Saturday morning. Objective achieved, and commemorative T-shirts in hand, the pair flew home the next day."
There is a video linked to from this article that shows about 2500 people waiting in a line just to enter the store. (10 blocks long) I knew that Apple was popular but not THAT popular.

I would agree, when it comes to performance difference between the Springdale and Canterwood you will find that the Springdale runs just slightly slower with even a narrower gap if the mfg. has enabled the "PAT" extensions. Give the review a read. -
SOYO CK8 Dragon Plus Review @ Motherboards.org

"The board comes overclocked by default from the factory making it a board that runs faster than its peers as it is running faster. The chip itself comes factory locked so overclocking is not really a stock option as far altering the clock speed but you can adjust the memory and FSB speeds to get a faster overall system speed."
I've really liked Soyo boards ever since the release of the original DRAGON some years ago. The onboard features and processor controls were very welcome during that time. Though lately many reviewers have mentioned that overclocking hasn't been great on many of the new Soyo Dragons, thus losing some of their enthusiast flair.
For us here at Ninjalane "the jury is still out". (catchy phrase huh?

PCI Express P4 chipset in January

Motherboards using the PT890 chipset are expected to be exhibited at CeBIT in March, the company said."
Cool things, makes you wonder what happened to the PT880. -

I agree, you should keep in mind that these modules have very relaxed timings that enable them to run so fast. For those of use that don't overclock very often you might look into getting a pair of XMS3200LL Pro Modules instead.
