I am in the process of getting a translation, though until then I would suggest that you check it out. Removal of Floppy Bogus?
Published: Monday, October 8, 2001 | By: DennisA couple of days ago we posted that on a leaked document from Intel they had requested the removal of floppy drives and PS/2 ports. Today they respond by saying that the document was interpreted incorrectly. Instead Intel claims that they are giving mfg's and OEM's the option of not including the floppy drive and other legacy connections in their products in their new chipsets.

Published: Monday, October 8, 2001 | By: DennisI'm not a big fan of SIS chipsets but it is good to see an alternative to the Intel offering for the Pentium 4, and with a performance boost to boot. Kyle at [H]ard|OCP spoke of this chipset when he was on The Screen Savers and if SIS can get this chip to market it should do well.
