After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Lian Li

We didn't actually have a meeting with Lian Li but we stopped by their booth anyway to see what was going on.

Lian Li is still primarily a case company and has been building a more diverse product line to include cases other than the all aluminum ones we have come to know and enjoy.

The item that first caught our eye was the electric red spider case.  This case featured a front door filled with fans and enough drive bays to shake a stick at.
This case was a microATX form factor in a reversed layout.  The design allows you to install larger expansion cards and get better cooling than traditional versions.  Truth be told we liked it just for the blue orb on the front.
The HTPC is still a hot item in today digital home theater but nobody has really determined how the cases should be designed.  Lian Li has several styles including this cube design complete with removable motherboard tray.
