After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Corsair

The final meeting in the Hyatt was with Corsair.  As usual they had some great products on display including a new, and cheaper, chassis.  Some upgraded 1200W 80+ Gold PSUs with even more connections than before.
Here we have a fancy new air cooler desgined to complement the H50, it is unclear as to how well a 3 heatpipe cooler will do up against a Core i7 but they claim their consumers wanted it.
Which brings us to the coolest thing on display, the new ProSeries lighting kit for Dominator brand memory.  The lighting modules are an addon that mounts above the cooling fan and plugs into a special connector on the memory module.
Special sensors built onto the Dominator PCB will then pass data back to the lighting module related to activity and temperature.  The end result is a fun to watch and informative lighting display to further complement the popular Dominator memory line.

Of course now the question is where do I get one? big grin smile
