After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Asus

The other big "A" name in the computer space is Asus.  As usual Asus had several things on display including laptops, media centers, video cards, motherboards, etc…  The first thing that caught our eye is the latest Mars GTX 295 video card and gaming demonstration.  The demo machine had 2 of these cards running in SLI and was playing FAR CRY 2 at [3840 x 2160] with all of the quality settings maxed out.

    Smooth as glass.
Here we have a racecar video card cooler.  Not sure I really like the design, I mean its a racecar afterall.  Then again it does seem to follow the old NOS theme they had several years back.
As always a variety for motherboards were on display.  The biggest push this year is around P55 and the Core i5 processor and just about everybody has their P55 board design on display.
