After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Marvell

Normally we wouldn't bother with stopping by a booth like Marvell but it was worth a glance just to see the new PCIe SSD drive system.  As you can imagine PCIe can offer up more bandwidth than SATA so why not completely bypass the buss and really turn on the speed.  Well that is what Marvell has proposed with this card.

Basically it's an onboard RAID solution that is custom designed for industrial use and made to order.  The customer just specifies the capacity and speed.
    Aerocool
Aerocool was nearby showing off their latest line of cases and these fancy touch screen fan controllers.  They look cool and all but were rather cumbersome to use.
