ECS Giving Up on Apple Products

"According to sources, Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has given up on developing Apple Computer products. It decided to spin off its third business division, the portable product division, several months ago and announced the sale of its Chungli, Taoyuan County (Taiwan) notebook factory last Friday."
In another story it would seem that Asustek might be buying up all of the ECS "spin offs".
