I still want one of these drives. Better yet, make it two.

However, the real test was with IOmeter, where we managed to truly see where the WD Raptor stands in terms of high-end server storage performance. "
The Raptor isn't as fast as SCSI and doesn't have a true SATA controller but seek times are very low and the platters spin very fast!.
