Single-Channel 865 Chipset??

"Regarding the rumored launch, board makers said that it would not be difficult for Intel to roll out a single-channel product, which would only require adjustment in the memory support of Intel’s current chipsets. However, although the move may press other chipset designers to engage in a fiercer price war, manufacturers noted that it is also likely to affect sales of Intel’s 845PE chipsets, of which the chip giant still holds quite a bit of inventory."
