Netscape Looks to Have Fallen

This is a really sad day for me, *sniff* the team at AOL dedicated to hacking the Mozilla browser to include Netscape centric stuff has started to be disbanded. This is basically a sure fire sign that the Microsoft money given to AOL not to long ago has finally killed off Netscape.

Mozilla is still rolling strong and aside from the stupid “hella ghey” Mozilla throbber logo the browser is everything Netscape 7 is/was.

Slashdot also has a little something up about a Mozilla foundation that is being started to ensure that the Mozilla browser will continue on.
