XGI targets global desktop graphics

"XGI Technology, which entered mass production of its desktop-use Volari graphics chips this month, aims to capture a 5-10% global market share in the desktop graphics chip market next year, company president Chris Lin said.

Being a newer and much smaller player than Nvidia and ATI, XGI is prioritizing Europe as its first target market, as it is easier to find reasonably-sized partners in the various national markets."
