The Inquirer has confirmed that NV40 has been taped out and is in the process of becoming a real GPU.
"It takes around 120 days from tape out to final shipping products so it seems that we might see cards based on NV40 shipping in April or May."
Good times for nVidia, they seem to be getting back into the 6-month product cycle once again.
