"As you can see, we managed some pretty decent numbers on overclocking, and might have possibly gone higher if we increase Vcore some more. We will soon be looking at a water cooling unit and will definitely revisit overclocking this chip again at that time. We also expect some faster RAM soon which will help us achieve better FSB at 1:1 as the CPU is certainly able to handle DDR450 speeds."
The Athlon64 isn't really a strong overclocker like the Pentium 4 and AthlonXP are but it doesn’t need to be due to the great out of box performance. Though as the chip matures overclocking should improve to the "watch out!" category.
