Intel adding 64-bit extensions to its Xeon line

"Intel will start volume production of its 90nm, 32-bit Nocona server processors with 64-bit extensions in the second quarter, company CEO Craig Barrett said at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) being held in San Francisco.
In addition, Intel will add 64-bit extensions to a number of its Xeon line, including the Potomac and Prescott processors, Barrett said. Volume deliveries of the Potomac will begin in 2005."
