No More Hercules Video Products

It would seem that Hercules can no longer support the selling of Hercules branded video products (Video Cards and LCD panels) Since there is no official press release from Hercules (as of this writing) it is hard to tell if the posted information is correct or just a rumor.
"There is nobody to blame here, as I can understand the way ATI works. From ATI's point of view is control very important. With control you are certain that your products are always on the same (high) level across the different vendors.

From Hercules point of view, I can understand that you want to differ yourself. The market is tough enough, how else would you survive? On pricepoint alone? That was not what Hercules was about."
Some may remember that back before they switched from nVidia to ATI GPUs the Hercules card was the one to get, almost makes you wonder why they don't switch back.

I still miss my Hercules GeForce2 Ultra, It was the best video card I ever owned.
