Auzentech X-Fi Prelude review @ Elite Bastards

We have never liked Sound Blaster stuff here at Ninjalane, oh there was a time when Sound Blaster was the bomb but they got slopply around the time of the Live! card and since then lost face in our eyes. The only other alternative was onboard audio (which suxX0red even worse) and stuff based on the Cirrus Logic C-Meda chip. Auzentech embraced the C-Media and made some really great products.

Oh how times have changed.
o, here it is - The first ever third-party board to sport CreativeLabs' X-Fi chip. Quite a busy looking thing, isn't she? Interestingly, we can see that the X-Fi chip itself is outfitted with aheatsink, unlike most of Creative's SoundBlaster X-Fi offerings. Thataside, the board features a standard connector for front panel audio aswell as an analogue CD audio connector.
