  • EVGA P55 Classified 200 - OC King @ ocaholic

Published: Thursday, April 1, 2010 | By: Will

I think the title says it all, but I think I can add something to it. The P55 Classified 200 also has some rockin colors as well. Yep, that is pretty much it for me.

"With the P55 Classified 200 EVGA presents its flagship out of their P55 chipset series. With a lot of features it especially awaits PC-enthusiasts as well as overclockers who are looking for an exceptionally good motherboard for overclocking."

"Lame" just came to mind for some unknown reason. shock smile

  • Core i5 DDR3 Memory Kit Group Test - 4GB kits @ ITShootOut

Published: Thursday, April 1, 2010 | By: Will

With the price of DDR3 going up it is a good idea to pick your RAM wisely or be out some real cold hard cash. Here is a good roundup to give us enthusiast  a good idea of how far our buck can stretch.

"Today we are comparing five different 4GB kits specifically tailored for use on the socket 1156 platform. Each of these kits has been supplied by a real retail store rather than from the manufacturer directly, so it should be representative of what you can buy yourself. We are testing kits from Corsair, OCZ, G.Skill and Crucial."

Everyone of these sets are just awesome in my book.cool smile

  • ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition Preview @ Techgage

Published: Thursday, April 1, 2010 | By: Will

What can we say Eyefinity is very cool, but a tough thing to swing in this kind of economy. So why not throw six monitors at us to help push the poor gamer into bigger debt. Okay well it is extremely cool to see how much power these Radeon HD 5870 have.

"Think having three monitors is a little bland? How about six, then? Options were scarce before, but with AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 edition, it has never been easier to get hooked up with such a configuration. We're still in the process of "working" hard for our final article, so for now, we give you this preview."

Six screens look awesome, but the bezel in the middle would drive me nuts.big grin smile

  • Coolermaster CM690II - Price/Performance-Killer @ ocaholic

Published: Wednesday, March 31, 2010 | By: Will

Looks like others are enjoying the new Cooler Master CM690II as much as we are here at Ninjalane. Check out our review as well as this sites look of this great valued case.

With the CM690II Cooler Master shows a steel midi-tower that comes with a lot of useful features as well as a decent design. The mostly black outside is being decorated by two small, chromed bars. Also the manufacturing quality is on a good level and the CM690II evencomes with a feature you wont find anywhere else, the external SATAX-dock (HDD dock). About this and a lot of other things we will writeon the following pages.

If you think the review is awesome go check out some custom watercooling effect in it as well here. cool smile

  • NL: PC Gaming Reviews Roundup

Published: Wednesday, March 31, 2010 | By: Will

The fun of PC gaming never takes a rest and here is a couple more games to show for it.

    Just Cause 2 @ Technic3D.

"Harness Just Cause 2's unique parachute and grapple combination to create your own unbelievable, high-speed aerial stunts. Whether free falling from thousands of feet, hijacking enemy fighter jets in midair or blasting through security checkpoints on the ground, use your imagination to create maximum chaos. With hundreds of weapons, vehicles, missions and Rico's trademark parachute and grapple, experience vertical freedom unparalleled in the third-person action genre? See you this and more in the following Review from Technic3D."

    Command & Conquer 4 (PC) @ GamingHeaven

"The Command and Conquer series is rightly revered by real-time strategy buffs as one of the most important in the entire genre. For fifteen years different generations have built bases, amassed units and then gone and marched on to victory against a variety of opponents, all done using the same tried and tested interface that has been replicated countless times. However, time doesnt wait for anyone and anything and even the third imagining of C&C garnered praise for its retro charm but little in the way of innovation."
  • Phenom II X4 Overclocking Master class - Let's poor some LN2 on it @ Guru3D

Published: Monday, March 29, 2010 | By: Will

I guess if your into extreme overclocking and who isn't, right. You should had on over and check out this little article about a man with his LN2 and a Phenom that had it coming. Enjoy.

"The professional overclocker's scene, and it's a demographic that Guru3D will be following more closely. It's the extreme side of overclocking, yes the guys that use extravagant cooling methods to lift the core frequency to way higher levels. And today we'll be doing exactly that.

We'll have our tame race driver 'OldScarface', a Dutch overclocker, tryout the latest revision of the Phenom II 965BE -- the latest stepping with a lower TDP. The objective is to pass 5 or maybe even 6 GHz on this processor.

To do so, all he'll need is a couple of litres of Liquid Nitrogen, the right equipment and time... lots of time."

That is a long read though.big grin smile

  • GeIL Black Dragon 6GB DDR3-2000 @ PureOverclock

Published: Monday, March 29, 2010 | By: Will

Today the news guys inner geek is just looking for cool and flashy objects. So keep that in mind when I post this review here. The Geil Black Dragons do look very neat with the red glowing eyes and the all black PCB, but do they performance as well as they look?

"We are looking at a set of GeIL Black Dragon 6GB DDR3-2000 memory modules that look very unique from what we normally see, sporting no fancy heatspreaders. Going with a different approach, there is a black PCB design, gold printing, and red LEDs make these Black Dragons quite refreshing in a sea of clichéd products that want us to believe that sleek metal casings can justify the high price tags that accompany such things."

Read on and you will see.wink smile

  • Microcool It Banchetto 101 Case Review @ OCIA

Published: Monday, March 29, 2010 | By: Will

If Ninjalane had to buy test benches then these right here would be the ones. These just have that awesome factor to them and I kind of want one just because. I guess we should read some more about it instead of going off just looks to see if it is a worthy test bench.

"As I'm sure many people will tell you, frequently reviewing or benchmarking lots of different computer hardware can be a real pain in the butt. Sure, trying out new gear is usually fun and it's exciting to get our hands on leading edge technology, particularly before it's publicly available. But the physical act of constantly replacing components in our test machines can get a bit monotonous, especially when you spend so much time disassembling, then installing, only to disassemble it yet again. So over the years there have been a small number of manufacturers that make cases designed specifically for the reviewer or "bencher", such as the one we have for review today, the Banchetto 101 from Microcool."

    Very cool!happy smile

  • GeForce GTX 480 Review

Published: Friday, March 26, 2010 | By: Dennis

The long awaited Fermi card from nVidia has been released and we have one of the first reviews of the new card right here.

There will be widespread availability of both GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 the week of April 12, 2010 meaning that not only did nVidia plan a great video card but also has stocks available for people to buy.

Inital availability will be "limited" to 10s of thousands of units (if you can call that limited) but should be enough for everyone that wants to get ahold of the most anticipated GPU ever.
