Published: Sunday, February 1, 2009 | By: DennisHacking road signs. how muh fun could that be?
3. Programming is as simple as scrolling down the menu selection to “Instant Text”. Type whatever you want to display, Hit Enter to submit. You can now either throw it up on the sign by selecting “Run w/out save” or you can add more pages to it by selecting “Add page”
What would make the sign say??

Are AMD and ATI About to Become Extinct? @ Motherboard
Published: Friday, January 30, 2009 | By: WillIt really has been a while since we all have seen a good doom & gloom article on the state of AMD. So lets kick off the happy go lucky death of a company article.
"The old war between ATI and NVIDIA may be coming to an end as ATI steps farther and farther away from game developers and he gaming community, and not having any leading edge technology other than DX 10.1 as an appeal, combined with limited games with the ATI logo are becoming more noticeable every new game launch. NVIDIA has now introduced PhysX technology that works exclusively on NVIDIA VGA cards and that combined with their gaming partnerships will propel them ahead of ATI by offering more bang for the buck across the board. I fear we may be seeing the end of ATI, much sooner than expected. Their All In Wonder division has been sold off due to poor internal support and lack of top end leadership, and John Swimmer the one man who was always the sole of the project will be sorely missed by many of us in the industry, hats off to you mate if you read this."
I just cannot count AMD and ATI out yet. Still there is some good points in here.

NL: Gaming Review Roundups
Published: Thursday, January 29, 2009 | By: WillToday we are looking at a new PC game review. Which this one looks to be pretty cool to me.
Cryostatis (PC) Preview @ GamingHeaven
"We recently spent some time with Cryostatis developer Action Forms Limited and they let us play their forthcoming PhysX supported title. Many of you will have already tried out the graphics demo which has been available for a while. It certainly seems an ambitious title, but is it actually any good?"
Tomb Raider Underworld Review @ ocaholic
"Lara is back! Again in sexy outfits she got a lot of work to do to unravel a new mystery. This time you can find her Greek mythology and you have to get Thors - the god of thunder - hammer. On the way to get there you'll face many questions and answers as well as further information about Laras parents."

3D porn to revolutionise industry
Published: Monday, January 26, 2009 | By: DennisIt would seem that 3D has started to come back into the mainstream once again. nVidia announced their 3D solution at CES which uses active shutter glasses to paint the 3D picture. The technology is a little different from "novelty" style 3D movies we’ve in the IMAX that require the polarized glasses.
So why not do a Porno? Pr0n seems like the perfect medium for 3D but then again how far could you really push the technology?
The producers hope the movie will cash in on the craze for 3D films in Hong Kong where 55 per cent of takings for last year's hit film Journey to the Centre of the Earth came from the 3D version.
However Shiu admitted casting for the film was proving difficult.
"We're having trouble finding a male lead who is willing to undress in front of the camera," he told the Post.
"It's a lot more difficult to find an actor than an actress for this kind of film," he said.Sadly I can see how 3D could flip full circle and be something for the G4y community instead of the traditional pr0n we all know and love. Time will tell

NL: Gaming Review Roundups
Published: Monday, January 26, 2009 | By: WillHere is a couple more PC games out there for you guys(and gals).
"Many people aren't even aware of the development of Sims 3 because everything relating to the game seems to have been kept relatively hush hush. Developer Maxis also handed the project over to EA Redwood Shores recently. It is actually quite a shock to learn that this title has been in development for around four years now. I was lucky enough to get a look at The Sims 3 when it was announced but recently I managed to spend some time in the new Sims town courtesy of EA."
Call of Duty: World at War PC @ TestFreaks
" Call of Duty World at War is yet another entry into the World War II gaming genre, is it a welcome addition? COD:WaW is based off the COD4 engine, so it's much more advanced than the others in the series, and it offers several new things to gameplay as well. Overall gameplay is fun, it's exciting, and the graphics are excellent, and of course we've got the awesome Nazi Zombie mode at the end of the game."

SageTV HD Theater Review @ Digital Trends
Published: Thursday, January 22, 2009 | By: WillOn the Ninja to do list has been the one item that I always wanted to, but never got the Ninja time to work it out. That is building an HTPC system. Still thinking about it and getting real interested in trying one of these SageTV setups instead.
"The SageTV HD Theater is akin to Western Digital's WD TV HD Media Player in that it can stream music and video to your television independent of a computer-that means you don't need a computer at all. Like that device, it's outfitted with HDMI, composite, component, and S-video outputs, and analog and S/PDIF audio outputs. Also similar to the WD TV, the HD Theater delivers video resolution up to 1080p. But if you're the type who expects to plug something in and have it just work, the SageTV HD Theater probably isn't the right media extender for you. That's not to say that the device is extremely buggy or poorly designed; it's just most appropriate for people who like to tinker and share their experience on online forums."
"I want my SageTV." Go ahead and fill your head with the rest of the song. I am.
"Money for nothing, but the chicks are free." Going to go check out the AVN Coverage again.
