" I must say this motherboard is one of the flashiest AMD boards I have yet to come in contact with. "ABIT" and "Wendel" do a great job of adding lots of extras for your gaming enthusiast.. The entire back side of the board appears to have LED's spaced out so that the board glows a sick red."
I can just imagine what this might look like in a clear acrylic case though unless you are very clean with your cables any amount of glow from behind a motherboard would not be seen by anyone. -

Published: Tuesday, April 5, 2005 | By: DennisOverclocking the Athlon64 is actually quite a challenge when you think about it, not only do you need to keep memory and HT clocks in check but LDT speed is also a factor once it starts approaching 1000Mhz.
" With air cooling, the Athlon64 3500+ maxed out at 242 MHz (2.66 GHz). Anything higher and the processor was unstable at any chipset voltage. Temperatures were a bit high for my taste too; the DFI LANParty NF4 SLI-DR motherboard reported CPU temps as high as 55 degrees Celsius." -

Nvidia nForce4 for Intel to arrive on April 6

"Nvidia will launch its nForce4 Intel Edition media and communications processor (MCP), which supports Nvidia’s scalable link interface (SLI) graphics architecture on April 6, according to the company.
The new MCP for Intel’s Pentium 4 platform, which was unveiled at CeBIT 2005, will be featured on motherboards from at least eight Taiwan-based motherboard makers.
Motherboard makers Abit Computer, Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology and Micro-Star International (MSI) said they have already prepared Nvidia nForce 4 SLI-based motherboards supporting Pentium 4 CPUs for their high-end product lines, especially for the gaming segment." -

Gigabyte and MSI deliver new P4 motherboards

The GA-8N-SLI Royal, which is expected to carry a price tag of around US$200, and is targeted at performance enthusiasts, the sources noted, adding that the company will continue to release other models of its Royal-series for the high-end market."
