Plusdeck Review @ PCMechanic
Published: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 | By: DennisThis thing is just plain crazy
"My first thought when I was offered to review Plusdeck was this: Would there be any demand for such a drive? I mean, hardly anybody uses cassette tapes anymore, and would anybody be interested in paying money for a cassette deck for their computer." -
AMD Dual Core Processor Information
Published: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 | By: DennisThe proc isn't really out yet but here are the current specs.
90nm
– Approximately same die size as 130nm single-core AMD Opteron processor*
– ~205 million transistors*
95 watt power envelope
– Fits into 90nm power infrastructure
940 Socket compatible
The last line has me wondering if this is going to be a 940 only processor or if there will be desktop/workstation models later on. -
NL: Review Block - Mobos Baby!
Published: Tuesday, March 29, 2005 | By: DennisMobos is what we like around here at Ninjalane, they don't do much except link everything together and cause people headaches when they don't work.

- ABIT AV8 Review @ HardwareZone
- Gigabyte GA-K8VT890-9 Review @ The Tech Report
- Soltek SL-K890Pro-939 Review @ PCStats See our review of the same board here
We try to keep up on the latest trends in the mobo industry though have been doing a pretty bad job at getting those trends into the Ninjalane Labs.
All should be solved very soon. -

NL: Review Block - Video Cards
Published: Tuesday, March 29, 2005 | By: DennisInput, Storage, and Output, the 3 basics of a computer system, you can enhance the output with a shiny new video card and really the GPU doesn't matter.

SilverStone Temjin TJ05S-TW Review @ InsaneTek
Published: Monday, March 28, 2005 | By: DennisNow that is Insane, a company listening to reviewers and actually doing what they suggested?? OMG perish the thought.
" We recently reviewed the SilverStone TJ05B case, which unfortunately had some design problems. SilverStone has made revisions since then and let us revisit the case. This time they sent a TJ05S-TW, which is silver and comes with a window and thermal controller."
The thing that gets me is when I've made suggestions to companies in the past but rarely get a "hey thanks for the suggestion" even when my suggestion makes it into a working product.. -

I'm still waiting for my DFI nF4 board, but I'm not holding my breath since I've been told the chipsets are in tight supply.
