Cooler Master ATC-600 Aluminum Desktop Case @ ModTheBox
Published: Monday, April 29, 2002 | By: DennisModTheBox reviewed a desktop case from Coolmaster that really looks more like a home stereo amplifier than a desktop case.
"One thing to consider is that the Cooler Master ATC line is highly regarded as the "Ferrari" of aluminum cases. The high cost factor guarantees that you getting craftmanship that is in a league of its own."
It is impressive that's for sure. -

Triplex Millennium Silver GeForce4 Ti4600 Review @ t-break
Published: Friday, April 26, 2002 | By: DennisWe told you about this card a little while ago and it would appear that t-break finally got around to finishing up the review. By the looks of it Triplex is using a similar layout and cooling design as Gainward. I'm thinking this card will look really sweet paired up with a Soyo DRAGON platinum edition.

Will Intel's Prescott chip run 32/64-bit??
Published: Thursday, April 25, 2002 | By: DennisThis is too good not to quote "Intel Corp. said it is on track to deliver a 3-GHz desktop microprocessor by year's end, but the rumors are still flying that the company will bundle its 32/64-bit "Yamhill" technology on its code-named Prescott chip line". I can't wait.

SOYO KT333 DRAGON Ultra Review @ VR-Zone
Published: Thursday, April 25, 2002 | By: DennisI have started to become quite fond of the Dragon Series Motherboards from Soyo, they come equipped with everything that the hardcore system builder and tuner would ever need while still providing out of box system performance for those in a hurry. Feel free to check out the VR-Zone review but don?t expect anything more than "par" performance when compared to any other KT333 or KT266 chipset enabled motherboard.

Microsoft Support for 64-bit processing
Published: Wednesday, April 24, 2002 | By: DennisHere is a quote that I find interesting:
" AMD of Sunnyvale, Calif., has scheduled a conference call for 4:30 p.m. Eastern time in which it plans to announce "two significant developments" related to its 64-bit processor family, according to AMD's Web site. An AMD spokeswoman in Europe declined further comment." -
Major OS Level Support for the "Hammer"
Published: Wednesday, April 24, 2002 | By: DennisThe much talked about 64-bit processor from AMD code-named "Hammer" has gotten official OS support from Microsoft. Good things in the AMD camp.
On a side note based on photos from Anandtech the Hammer proc uses the same package as the P4 heat spreader and all.
