ICQ Vulnerable to Attack

The official word comes from here. The hole only seems to effect the "ICQ Voice Video & Games feature for versions earlier than 2001b." So those people who want to use the older, simpler, and banner-ad free version (like me!
apparently can continue to do so as long as you don't use that feature. (Fortunately, there are sites such as http://www.spoutnic.com/icq/archive.asp that keep old versions of ICQ for just such occasions...) -

More Downtime
Published: Saturday, March 23, 2002 | By: DennisOnce again ninjalane.com was down, sorry bout that, since I shouldn't ever have to say sorry for the site being down or server not working I am once again looking for a new hosting provider. The move won't happen for a few days so please bare with me. During that time we can only hope for no further downtime but considering past experience I'll give it about 20 hours before the server blows up again.

Micron in the DDR400 market
