After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Conclusion

Quantum Force motherboards are designed with the hardware enthusiast and overclocker in mind.  You’ll see this when looking at how the motherboard is designed.  The overclocking aspects can be found in the oversized power supply, single bank of triple channel memory, and the 4-in-1 motherboard cooling system.  Of course the hardware enthusiast will find joy the quad video card support, onboard SAS controller, and Creative Sonar X-Fi sound.  These things combined help to differentiate Quantum Force products from the rest of the Foxconn line up and also make us hardware guys extremely happy.

Color and design are also important to the hardware enthusiast especially when it comes to casemodding.  The Foxconn BloodRage features a standard black PCB and red expansion and cooling accessories.  The logos you see on the heatpipe, waterblock and chill tank are all made from metal stamps and glued in place.  Its attention to detail like this that also helps Quantum Force products stand out in the crowd.

As was mentioned earlier overclocking was extremely easy on the BloodRage and we were able to 4Ghz on our Core i7 920 chip with relative ease.  This is a significant number considering the G.Skill PC3 1600 memory modules that we used.  The 200Mhz bus speed translates into an 800Mhz memory clock and a perfect match for the rated speed and memory timings.
