After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    ForceWare 260.51 Drivers

The introduction of the new GTS 450 is not the only part of this launch. Nvidia is releasing a whole new ForceWare driver as well. This driver comes with a variety of performance boosts for the GeForce 400 series cards and even features an improved installer. The new installer allows the user to pick what options they wish to install and either upgrades the driver package or will completely remove the old driver before installing the new one.

This is a great feature if you are in the habit of using 3rd party driver cleaners when switching out hardware.
Visual entertainment does not stop with games which is why NVidia has included Blu-ray 3D support in their latest driver packages.  Hi-Def Surround Sound is also taken care of with inclusions for about every kind of Dolby certification imaginable.

To help with performance the new GeForce 400 series cards come with a decode chip to allow sound to pass thru the Mini-HDMI.
