After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Card Layout and Features Cont.

A huge feature of the 5000 series is the introduction of ATI Eyefinity Technology.  This allows you to hook up 3 monitors to your desktop and configure them to work as one single desktop unlike the traditional mulit-monitor setups we all have grown to love.

The Sapphire HD5670 supports the following monitor hookups HDMI, DisplayPort, and the traditional DVI. To enable Eyefinity all of the connections will need to be used.
Included in the box you will find the following it
1x HDMI to DVI conversion cable
    1x D-SUB to DVI adaptor
    1x CrossFire Bridge Interconnect module.
The HD5670 draws all of its power from the PCI Express slot so there is no need for additional power connections.
Along with the typical driver disk and installation manual you will find the Arcsoft SIM HD software that when installed is supposed to enhance your instant messenger experience.
