After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Asus Booth

Asus is one of the big names when it comes to computer components and given their portfolio they can show stuff at just about any convention without to much trouble.  CES is geared towards consumer electronics so as you can imagine most of their booth was filled with EeePC and various laptops but they did have some gaming hardware tucked away on a back corner of the booth.
The first board was an Asus Rampage III Extreme designed for overclocking.  We didn't get any details on the specs however it looks to be setup for quad video cards and hopefully they have the extra PCIe lanes to support it.
Another Republic of Gamers product on display was this GTX 285 card that shares some of the design ideas implemented on the Rampage III Extreme.
Of course not to be outdone Asus had a couple of MicroATX and small form factor products on display.
