After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    AMD Booth

AMD seems to be all about pimpin partnerships as at least part of their booth was dedicated to AMD ready motherboards and ATI video cards.
The main reason for my visit at the AMD booth was to see the new LGA pinless processors and wouldn't you know Asus had a partner board on display.
The other motherboards were based on the AM2 socket including 2 identical nForce boards from Foxconn and EVGA. Goes to show how far the reference designs actually go when it comes to motherboard design.
The last item of interest was this rackmount server that ran so efficient the cpu fan would only run when required, which actually was not very often.
