After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Sponsors & Prize Winners

Well this event brought out a few great sponsors. Those sponsors, Crucial, Jab-Tech, and Thermaltake each contributed some small items such as keychains, posters, and shirts. They also sent over some very strange things like stress ball pigs and blow up hammers. Still all of these things are fun, but the bigger prizes are what we all like to see.
    Thermaltake
Thermaltake gave away a bunch of very cool prizes. The first one is an 80mm Green UV Fan. The lucky guy to win this door prize was Steve. Here he is holding his prize of the day. Moving on to the next picture was the Unreal Tournament 2004 Deathmatch winner Eric. He won a very cool prize from Thermaltake. It is a 2.5" SATA removable backup portable drive system. This is a very cool little item to try out.
Then we move onto the mighty Thor of Thermaltake. Wielding his hammer to strike fear in us less fortunate winners. Well to be honest Mister Chris here won a prize from default. More or less I wanted to pit a few people that still own and use a GeForce 7900, 7800, or 6800 video card against each other. Since this prize was very specific to that type of video card. Well he ended up being the only person with one at the time. So congrats to him on that. wink smile
    Crucial
Now moving onto Crucial Ballistix as another one of the great sponsors. They provided a few small fun prizes that were great to mess with. The guys(Chris, Anthony, & Matt) loved getting the wrest bands to show off how cool and super geeky they can be. Plus the Memory Hog that was abused earlier in the article was from Crucial to. I think he never made it back though. Well someone had stress ball pig bacon in the morning. big grin smile
Now, the prize that was somehow still sitting on the table for a little longer than I thought it would last for was the awesome Crucial Ballistix 2GB DDR2 1066 RAM. Scott won this ram during a UT3 Deathmatch Tournament. He had been quite for most of the day hoping and praying to get that RAM. Well Scott pulled it off and then called later that night to learn how to start overclocking his system.cool smile

I also want to thank Crucial for a couple cool Memory Hog RAM shirts that was handed out during the event.
    Jab-Tech
The last, but certainly not least of the sponsors is Jab-Tech. Jab-Tech was a little more reserved with their prize, but that was okay. For the Prize was one that everyone was eyeballing, but it was picked up at the very first of the party.
The man that took this awesome prize from everyone is always known for his ability to be the Destruction Derby Bomber. This man was a legend of winning best 2 out of 3 Flat-out 2 Destruction Derby matches. His name is Darald, and the prize he won was none other than a Scythe Musashi Twin-Fan VGA Cooler. Darald is happy to report that one of his two Radeon HD 4850 is quiet now.  big grin smile
Like all good things they must come to an end. So let's check out the final bits of the NinjaLane Indy Black Friday LAN Madness. sad smile
