MSI 790FX-GD70 Socket AM3 Motherboard Review @ Legit Reviews
Published: Monday, July 6, 2009 | By: WillThis new color scheme from MSI is just awesome. We here at Ninjalane love good looking boards just as much a well layed out board. Still the performance is the most looked for feature.
"We have the opportunity to look at another AMD Socket AM3 motherboard in our review today. This one is the 790FX-GD70 from MSI and it is poised to be the flagship motherboard of the AM3 lineup for MSI. MSI has been around for quite some time, and so it is no stranger to competing in the motherboard business. This board sports the 790FX/SB750 combination of chipsets, so it is the best that you can get now in the AM3 scene. It also has a total of four X16 PCIE slots, so it is ready for a multi-GPU setup to take gaming to its graphical extremes..."
Keep the nice looking boards coming out MSI.

NL: PC Game Reviews Roundup
Published: Monday, July 6, 2009 | By: WillHere is a couple new games for everyone to check out for the PC.
ArmA II (PC) Review @ Gamingheaven
ArmA II by developer Bohemia Interactive is a followup to their own series of Operation Flashpoint games, which are now owned by Codemasters. It puts you in control of everything from hand held pistols to formidable, state of the art aircraft and is sure to appeal to gamers who like to duke it out on high octane dynamic battlefields.
Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood Review (PC) @ Gamingheaven
Call Of Juarez was released 2 years ago by Ubisoft and it was a game set in the Wild West that dealt with a mission for revenge as well as the hunt for a cursed treasure. Reverend Ray was a fantastic character, a fanatical preacher who quoted from the bible while shooting people in the face. COJ 2 focuses on the history of Reverend Ray, his family and their quest for gold.

July 5th Reflection
Published: Sunday, July 5, 2009 | By: DennisHow is everyone doing? Still have all of your fingers and toes? I spent the 4th hanging with the family, BBQ'ed up some sirloin, drank some beer, and around 10:30 the neighborhood (and city for that matter) lit up and sounded much like a movie set warzone.
Funny thing, most of the fireworks making all of the noise were illegal in this area, kind of strange how a legal loophole can fuel so much social fun and excitement.
Speaking of excitement, we should have a couple of reviews posted tonight (if not tomorrow), Tiger Woods and Anthony Kim are paired up at the AT&T National, and with any luck I'll be playing 18 this afternoon.
It's shaping up to be a good day, now if my hangover would go away I'd be happy

Happy 4th of July Weekend
Published: Friday, July 3, 2009 | By: DennisI know its a day early (as of this writing) but all of us here at Ninjalane wanted to wish our US visitors a happy "safe and sane" 4th of July weekend.
As the teacher in "Dazed and Confused" would say.
"Okay guys, one more thing, this summer when you're being inundated with all this American bicentennial Fourth Of July brouhaha, don't forget what you're celebrating, and that's the fact that a bunch of slave-owning, aristocratic, white males didn't want to pay their taxes."
Its a few years past the bicentennial (33 years to be exact) but none of us mind provided the burgers are cooked to perfection and the beer is cold.

Foxconn says not quitting own-brand motherboard business
Published: Wednesday, July 1, 2009 | By: DennisWe actually knew this little gem for over a month and even wrote up an exclusive article about it. Be sure to check out the new Inferno Katana and DigitLife Cinema.
Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has said it will maintain its own-brand marketing staff for motherboards but will transfer some technical staff to support other business units. The comments were made in response to ongoing speculation that it has been decreasing efforts to market own-brand motherboards and may eventually exit the market.
However, since Foxconn had to go to Digitimes it seems not everyone was convenced.
I braved having to wear a mask to get this exclusive information, the least you could do is read about it.

Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard @ Tweaktown
Published: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 | By: WillThe ultimate gamer geek toy for the PC is here. The Logitech G19 has a full color LCD screen built onto the keyboard for all kinds of wild things. Check out the review to give you something new to crave on the hardware want list.
"We have the awesomeness of the LCD providing you with more geek than you could possibly imagine. There are a good number of applications out there and the ability to link up with Windows sideshow, while not totally amazing, does give good room for expandability.
The one thing I love about this keyboard is the ability to change the backlight colour to anything under the RGB rainbow! It really does make me grin wildly just playing with such a nifty feature."Holy *&^%! Look at that price!

DFI UT X58-T3eH8 @ HardOCP
Published: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 | By: WillAnother super board for overclocking with a better price tag than the Classified is the DFI UT X58-T3eH8. Let's see what the guys at HardOCP think about it.
"The UT X58-T3eH8 is DFI's answer to the current onslaught of Intel X58 chipset based motherboards. The board is part of DFI's much vaunted LanParty line of boards, squarely aimed at the gaming and hardware enthusiast. It looks to be strong contender in this highly competitive space."
In leet speak does that say (T3e-H8)The-Hate?

Kingwin Mach 1 1000W PSU Review @ JonnyGURU
Published: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 | By: WillI will admit it that it excites me to see a PSU get tortured. Call me weird, but it is something I enjoy. Let's see how the Kingwin Mach 1 holds under the pressure of a full on beating.
"These days, for a power supply company to be competitive, there's gotta be a 1kW or up model in there somewhere. Kingwin recently joined the party by bringing in their Mach 1 series of units, which tops out with a 1.2kW monster. Today I'm having a look at the second most powerful in the line, the 1000W model. This is the only 80 Plus Bronze certified unit in the range, and it features such cool things as modular cables with illuminated rings around them when you plug one in."
Don't call it weird just call it a fetish. A fetish that is all.

NL: PC Game Reviews Roundup
Published: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 | By: WillHere we have a couple PC game review to look at for you gamer types out there.
Light Of Altair (PC) Review @ Gamingheaven
Light Of Altair is a game made by two people with a budget price tag of $15. We love independent titles on Gamingheaven because quite often they don't suffer from restrictive publisher control and are free to explore radical ideas outside the confines of a big budget production. As SaintXi develop and publish the game is it able to offer something entertaining for the relatively modest asking price?
Wheelman (PC) Game Review @ ocaholic
Loads of action, quick cars, hot shapes and Vin Diesel. Who in this case doesn't think of The Fast And The Furious needs to have Midways Wheelman in its mind. We take a closer look at Wheelman and tell you if it has a solid basis or if it's just another game.

EVGA E761 X58 SLI Classified Motherboard Review @ Legit Reviews
Published: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 | By: WillIt is very popular, and has every reason to be popular among hardware enthusiasts. The new EVGA Classified boards are really second to none, and the colors are just awesome too.
"What is there to say? The EVGA X58 E761 Classified is like an over-the-top blockbuster movie; it wows you on all fronts all the while costing an arm and a leg to produce. Core i7 is a new processor and motherboard and BIOS engineers are still figuring it out, but the team at EVGA has clearly stumbled across something to be able to release a board that pushes these chips past the notorious 220MHz base clock wall. This board reminds me a lot of the Asus LGA775 Rampage Extreme, except the Rampage Extreme came so late in the game..."
I want one to play with so bad.
