  • Holy Cow Look at the Time.

Sorry for the lateness in my postings it would seem that when you get ready to deploy an ASP.net website you had better confirm what version of .net is installed on the server.

You see I spend the better part of 3 weeks working on some website upgrades for a client of mine and when I got ready to deploy the site hardly anything worked! As it turned out the hosting company was running ver 1.0 where I wrote everything to work with ver 1.1 Needless to say I spent the next 4 hours converting code and testing the changes. Not really the way I wanted to spend the last day of the weekend.

I digress most of you are here to see hardware news so I'll see about getting some posted.

All of the eight joined Nvidia on stage at CeBIT during the preview of the newest member of the nForce family. This was the first time the company disclosed the name of its upcoming MCP."

  • Thermaltake Beetle Review @ InsaneTek

Published: Thursday, March 10, 2005 | By: Dennis

When I saw this news posting in my inbox I was pretty much "WFT?". Much to my surprise, the heatsink does look like a giant beetle legs and all. If anything check the review out for the photos.
"The Thermaltake Beetle's packaging comes in a plastic box. It is compatible with the Intel P4 478, 775, and the AMD K7 and K8 sockets. Unlike the Big Typhoon, the beetle utilizes a 92mm fan that is included with the heatsink. On the back of the heatsink, there are four mounting holes for an optional 80mm fan."

  • When Will Ugly Computer Cases Disappear? @ CoolTechZone

Published: Thursday, March 10, 2005 | By: Dennis

Now here is something I too feel strongly about. fuGly Computer cases. In retrospect I should have written something like this sooner. sad smile
"A few years ago when companies began introducing their pre-modded computer cases, it is safe to say that the majority of the enthusiast community was quite excited to see something unique being brought to the market. These new cases were aimed at the person that did not possess the skills or have the time required to perform tedious case mods."
I still say, get a good case, develop some skillz, and start modding. big grin smile
