"Now the real surprise is gaming with this monitor. LCD monitor wise, I have not played on a better monitor than the 172W. The colours are sharp and vibrant, the contrast and brightness are great and guess what, THERE IS NO GHOSTING! I personally like gaming on a widescreen TFT LCD as I have done in the past and I would recommend this one if you are into gaming and LAN parties." -

Window Tint Guide @ ModAsylum
Published: Wednesday, May 14, 2003 | By: DennisHere is a mod that we highlighted back in 2001 and again later with the Shuriken - AntecMod Project. Since then I've decided that every Ninjalane case mod will have a tinted window, it just looks cooler.
"After trying (and failing) to tint my window before, I kind of gave up on the idea. That was until I was walking through the automotive department at my local Wal-Mart and came across some "Insta-Cling Limo Dark Window Film" made by Axius. I pulled it off the shelf and threw it in my cart. I figured it was worth a shot since it doesn’t use any adhesive and could easily be removed, just like a vinyl cling on decal."

I just bought the Pentium 4 version of this kit a couple weeks ago, the coolant hose could be a little larger in diameter but I'm not really complaining. The kit I bought also came with the Innovatek radiator that has been rumored to cool better, we shall see. -
Antec New Cases

"Antec have done an excellent job on these two cases which are both aimed at two different markets. The Sonata is aimed at people who are interested in having the quietest system possible, with rubber used throughout the case instead of metal screws; vibration is absorbed and can help stop any noise throughout the case. On the other end of the scale if noise doesn’t bother you and your more interested in having a nice light weight case that includes a window the Lanboy is perfect for you."
Neither of the cases look to be made from the same material as the popular performance series case so be sure to look at a sample before you buy. -
Cooler Master ATC-620 Review @ Dans Data

Between a SFF cube case and the ATC-620'ish cases on the market it is really hard to decide what sort of system would make a better HTPC. I'd be inclined to go with a MicroATX desktop case since I'm the type that likes to build from scratch and mod along the way. -
Modding the Sunbeam @ VoidedWarranty

"Everything installed without a hitch. All pre-drilled holes in the case lined up with the equipment being installed. There was just one problem with the mobo. After inserting a board in a card slot, there was a good 1/4 inch gap between the case back panel and the back of the board. I had to bend the top of the metal board mounting bracket to enable securing the board to the case. " -
New Athlon XP Released Today

It is also claiming a 6% performance gain over its closest competitor, not bad for an aging processor core.
