Can't say I have ever wanted a fanbus but the variable speed aspect might be rather attractive for a modder that went crazy installing case fans.

"Overall, we were very impressed with the MSI 865PE Neo2-FIS2R. Performance was great, stability was good while features were very well-rounded. Overclockers would probably want to get this board for its overclocking features while beginners getting this board will benefit with its innovative D.O.T. feature."
D.O.T. being what they are calling the optimized memory path to give PAT like performance from the Springdale chipset. -

Albatron PX865PE Pro II Review @ Extreme Overclocking

If you are looking for something a little cheaper, Albatron has other boards that use the 865PE chipset but don't quite have all the features of the Pro II."
The Springdale chipset is an amazing little device though it still doesn't excuse having the floppy connector under the last PCI slot. Strangely enough it seems to be a typical layout decision on most Albatron boards. -
DFI LanParty PRO875 Review @ TweakNews

"Rounding out the endless accessories are the included orange, rounded, UV reactive floppy and ATA-133/100/66 cables. I thought they looked sweet in normal lighting, but switching off the room lighting and switching on a UV cold cathode lamp and the true aesthetic potential of these cables lights up the room.
Oh wait, did I say "UV reactive"? The cables aren't the only part of this motherboard that glows, but you will have to wait till I bring this motherboards unique characteristic to the limelight or should I say "orangelight" ;)."
It appears that more and more people are taking advantage of the UV reactive nature of the LanParty series motherboards. -

Intel to Launch Two New Chipsets

The 848P, formerly rumored as the 865PL, will be marketed for the value-line end-user market, while the 865GV will target OEM customers.
Intel’s 848P will share the same core and technologies as the existing 865P chipset, and only minor revisions will be needed to lower the 865P’s memory bandwidth from dual-channel to single-channel and increase its FSB speed to 800Mhz."
